Dear Kid,
While you are busy studying for exams, life here is continuing on.
Big news: it snowed last night. Which is to say three flakes fell and two of them stuck around until this morning. So not exactly anything that requires snowplows. Still, given this area, the morning commute will be tripled for most people as they deal with the weather fiasco.
Bigger news: I got my new car yesterday (pre-snow). It’s dark grey and requires a PhD in Engineering to set up. Fortunately, John the Car Guy has the appropriate training, and gave me a long lesson (during which he did most of the set up). But I can turn on the radio all by myself. And drive places.
Biggest news: There’s a button on the rearview mirror of my new car that opens the garage door. I don’t know why I think that is beyond cool. Possibly because I didn’t expect it. Possibly because it really is Just That Cool. Maybe I’m just easily amused.
Biggester news: The car came with clean windows. No puppy nose prints on them. It’s a novel experience.
Biggesterest news: I’m accepting suggestions for names for the new car. I still have temporary tags, so that doesn’t help. Creativity appreciated.
As your father says, Have a Fabulous Friday.
