Dear Kid,

Weren’t we just here?

It seems like just a few months ago we talking about cars. (By “we” I mean me and by “cars” I mean talking about getting a new vehicle.)

In fact, it was over three years ago (yark!) and my lease is almost up. Which means it is Time to Make a Decision. Several decisions actually.

I don’t like car shopping. I don’t even like deciding to shop for a car.

And yet, here we are again.

Making long-lasting decisions. Like color.

Me: I’m thinking gray.
Dad: You mean silver?
Me: I mean gray.
Dad: I thought you were sticking with blue?
Me: I’m thinking gray.

Unless I stay with blue.
