Dear Kid,
Yup, a second post in just one day. But this story is worth it.
Today is running a story about Cameron Lyle, a track star at the University of New Hampshire. It’s an amazing story of putting real life, real human beings, ahead of short term goals and athletic competitions.
The short version (but you should really read the longer version) is that Cameron is a registered bone marrow donor. His marrow was a match for someone who was in desperate need, and the timing of extracting the marrow effectively ended Cameron’s college athletic career.
Cameron–You did an extraordinary thing. You are a true winner in life. We wish you all the best.
